MCGP grants include:
- Workforce Recruitment. These grants fund provider organizations to recruit and hire personnel to serve the Medi-Cal population. This includes community health workers, doulas, medical assistants and specific kinds of licensed health care professionals in Alliance service areas. The Alliance also offers a Linguistic Competence Provider Incentive for hiring bilingual providers.
- Healthcare Technology. These grants support the purchase and implementation of infrastructure that improves access, convenience and care coordination for Medi-Cal members.
